Free Marketing Information

Hello Everybody!


I have not posted in quite a while because I've been very busy working on my websites and going to forums and all the other free ways to get traffic to my websites. One way to get traffic to your website is to set up a blog. So now I am coming back to my blogs and will be posting as often as I can. I don't know about you but I work maybe 8 or 9 hours a day maybe 6 or sometimes, well a lot of times 7 days a week on my business. I am going to be blunt with you I paid a lot of money for a mentor. I won't say who unless you email me and ask but I will say $5000.00 to $6000.00 to start my business and I got actually nowhere. That was 2 years ago. I now have learned the most important things that I needed to do but it's too late now. I spent all my money listening to people who really just wanted my money. I believe that now before you buy anything at all get yourself educated. Most important because if you find one person who says they are a good marketer and they can teach you but first you have to pay a small amount of money first, watch out they are liars!! But now I know a few good marketers who really do teach you the basics. But it took me much money and much time to come to this realization. I am just like you. I had little experience on the computer and I was too trusting of everybody. I also fell into a scam with the person quoting me scripture from the Bible and you don't think that someone like that would try to scam you but trust me you actually have to have your eyes wide open and be tough and learn how to be patient. So please learn , learn, learn before you make your first move! All you have to do is google search anything you need to learn. You know that don't you? So now I tell you don't advertise or get a website or any of that until you understand everything. This is my way of venting I guess because sometimes I feel so stupid but I know I am not stupid just misled. You really have to find your own way. If you do have a website you already the most important thing you need is traffic!!! That is your lifeblood! But I guess you already know that too. Before you pay for traffic check out all the free ways to get traffic first! I would really like to hear from you. I know that there are many people out there just like me who are really trying to make their business on the Internet work but just need to learn more and go with the right people in the right direction. You know what they say about life is true. Listen to older people because they have experienced probably more ups and downs than the younger people but I do know that there are a lot of young people out there that are great with the computer and all that so they may have an edge. And maybe they don't need to hear any of this but I bet there are many of you out there that have to first learn the computer and boy is there a lot to learn about that all by itself. So my first thing that I advice you to do before anything else is learn everything you can about all your software programs that come with your computer and then start researching on the Internet before you spend any money! Whew!! Did I get long winded or what! I started this blog as a business blog and they taught me all the etiquette about business and how to talk to people but on this blog I have decided to be honest and blunt about everything I post so that if you need help with anything I will do my best to help you. I just thought of another thing, don't jump on every band wagon that comes along to try to make money. Because if you don't know the fundamentals of marketing you are going to lose your money so fast your head will spin! The best advice I can give you is to start with one thing whether it be a program or a website and stick with that until you start making some money with it and put any money you do make right back into your business until you are making more and more money. Do NOT jump around from one thing to another because you will lose your focus. Start with something and stick with it and you will make money and then you can build your business and do more. There is so much information on the Internet and you can easily lose your focus and go off the beaten path. Please try to stay focused on one thing at a time. You will learn how to do things that are important, and how to not do things that are not important. In other words I guess what I am trying to say is, there are a lot of good programs out there and there are a lot of scams. You just have to figure out which is which. Are you still with me?(lol). Well for now I am going to give you a couple of free ways to get a little traffic to your website. If you have a website or an affiliate website then I really think getting a blog up and running would be a good idea. I have 2 blogs right now but I am still working on my other one. Go to forums and make sure you have a signature file with a link to your website. It will take time to do this but it's fun too! It will also take time to get traffic from this but what else do you have. Give testimonials if you tried something and you really like it. Make sure you have your website or program at the end of your signature. Traffic exchanges are only good if you know how to use them or else they are a waste of your precious time. You really should only have a page that has an opt-in-form to get email addresses and make sure you write a short description maybe with a freebie to get their email address. Nobody is going to read too long because they are set up to go fast. How much can you read in 10 or 15 seconds? Well now I am going to get to the point of this post. I am conducting an experiment for myself. I already went the way of paying for a website and all the things you need for that website. Don't kid yourself, if you are going to do it right and make money it is going to cost you. Now I still have my website which is my heart. We have lots of pets and we really love them so I built Pet Store USA.net. Please check it out if you have pets. That's been up and running for 2 years now. But I decided I haven't had enough fun so I built a marketing website Free Marketing Information absolutely free! Everything on that website is free or very low cost, with a lot of affiliate programs that you can join all for free if you like free. I am trying to drive free traffic to it and just see if you really can make money with no money. I will keep you posted on that as I go along. I got a free website with free hosting and everything! Don't listen to all the gurus telling you about if you have a free website and hosting that you could get shut down because they are fly by nights. Yes that could easily happen but there are some that are very good and I know a couple of them that have been there for a good number of years and are still there!
